I am a wheelchair user with over 20 years of experience visiting the Disneyland Resort. I have been to the parks countless times and have ridden every ride that is accessible to wheelchair users. I have also eaten at most of the restaurants in the parks and have stayed at all of the Disneyland Resort hotels.

I have written this guide to share my knowledge and experience with other guests with physical disabilities. I want to help you make the most of your Disneyland vacation and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Planning Your Trip

The first step in planning your Disneyland vacation is to decide which park you want to visit. Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are both wheelchair accessible, but they offer different experiences.

Disneyland Park is the original Disneyland park and is home to many classic rides, such as "It's a Small World" and "Space Mountain." Disney California Adventure Park is newer and features more thrill rides, such as "Radiator Springs Racers" and "Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT!"

Once you have decided which park you want to visit, you can start planning your itinerary. You can use the Disneyland app to see which rides and attractions are accessible to wheelchair users. You can also make dining reservations and Free Download tickets online.

If you are staying at a Disneyland Resort hotel, you will be able to take advantage of the hotel's complimentary transportation system. This system includes buses, monorails, and boats that can take you to and from the parks.

Getting Around the Parks

The Disneyland Resort is very wheelchair accessible. There are ramps and elevators throughout the parks, and most rides and attractions are accessible to wheelchair users.

If you are using a wheelchair, you can rent an electric wheelchair at the parks. These wheelchairs are larger and more powerful than manual wheelchairs, and they can make it easier to get around the parks.

You can also bring your own wheelchair to the parks. However, you must be able to transfer from your wheelchair to the ride vehicle independently.

Rides and Attractions

Most of the rides and attractions at the Disneyland Resort are accessible to wheelchair users. However, there are a few rides that are not accessible, such as "Indiana Jones Adventure" and "Space Mountain." You can use the Disneyland app to see which rides and attractions are accessible to wheelchair users.

If you are not able to transfer from your wheelchair to the ride vehicle independently, you can use the Disability Access Service (DAS). DAS allows you to wait for rides and attractions in a designated area, and then you will be escorted to the ride vehicle by a Cast Member.

Dining

There are many dining options available at the Disneyland Resort. Most of the restaurants are wheelchair accessible, and many of them offer accessible seating.

You can use the Disneyland app to see which restaurants are wheelchair accessible. You can also make dining reservations online.

Hotels

All of the Disneyland Resort hotels are wheelchair accessible. The hotels offer accessible rooms, and they have ramps and elevators throughout the property.

You can book a room at a Disneyland Resort hotel online or by calling the hotel directly.
